P: No, no surgeries.
MS: (examines patient, sees AV fistula in patient's arm) What's this?
P: Oh, that was for my dialysis.
MS: You're on dialysis?
P: Well, not anymore. I had a kidney transplant.
(Since when does getting a NEW ORGAN not constitute surgery? They really do say the darndest things...)
